Overview
A virus outbreaks in New York City after a business traveler returning from Asia spreads the disease. Within days the virus has spread human to human and the indications of a pandemic has begun.

Backstory:
A virus was found in 1996 to infect birds and poultry. It was first discovered in asia where in less than in a month it killed 5 people. It then spread to other parts of the world. Now over X people have died. The virus kills when it comes in contact with a human form about 50% of the time. The virus is changing. It's become weaker. A weaker virus is ironically more dangerous. It doesn't kill as fast so it can stay in its host longer. The more people the host connects with the more likely it will be passed on. If it is able to mutate succesfully to transport from human to human, a pandemic could occur. The is one organization responsible for monitoring such activities, the Worldwide Health Organization. There are 6 stages of a pandemic. The wold has been at Stage 3, yellow alert. Until one day the scales tip, the virus mutates, and the pandemic begins.
